Our Drone Roof and Building surveys are carried out quickly and affordably
At Samuels Surveyors, our Civil Aviation Authority licensed drone pilots use the latest drone technology to provide a wide range of drone surveys and inspections.
We have the ability to reach even the most inaccessible, hazardous, or large-scale sites by deploying our UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) teams. Our UAV aerial surveys are a cheaper and more efficient way of inspecting buildings or land if access is difficult, for example where a fragile roof deck exists. Our drone surveys provide you with a safer way to carry out Roof or Building Surveys as they will negate the risks associated with working at height. They also allow us to provide surveys of locations which previously were only accessible by expensive lift platforms.
What can I do with a drone survey?
Our drone inspections can be used to complement many of our services including:
- Carrying out Building Surveys
- Finding Building Defects
- Insurance Reinstatements
- Planning Applications
- Aerial video and images of property and land for marketing or publicity purposes
Our drone inspections can be done in a fraction of the time normally needed. A Drone Roofing Survey and Report can show defects to Parapets, Gutters, Flat Roofs, Skylights, Lead Flashings, Pointing and Windows.
A Drone Building Survey is suitable for identifying and locating defects, obtaining 4K UHD Evidence of known Defects, Pre-Survey inspections for accurate tenders, and post contract inspections (e.g. for snagging purposes).
Our drones have the capability of reaching a maximum altitude of 14,700ft above sea level and a range of 10km, shooting 4k UHD videos or 1080p HD at 60frames per second.
